Jesse Altamarino

Jesse Altamarino is the author of The Pursuit of a Warrior Heart and the founder of the Warrior Society. After a seven-year battle with addiction that cost him his family, friends, finances, peace and respect again and again, God restored him. Today he owns Radiant Builders LLC in Lubbock, Texas, holds four degrees (a BBA in Finance, bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Theology, and an MBA in Financial Management), and leads men out of the same pit he climbed out of.

Where I was

For seven years addiction ran my life. I lost everything. Not once, but over and over. Family, friends, money, peace, honor, respect. I had the education. I knew the Scripture. And I still couldn't stop. That's the part nobody tells you: you can know the truth and still be losing.

What God did

God didn't give up on me. He met me in the pit and started restoring what the locusts had eaten (Joel 2:25). Along the way I learned what Scripture says about who I am, and what science says about how my brain had been trained to run. When I put the two together, things started to change. Not overnight. Daily.

Where I am now

Today I build homes and I build men. I own Radiant Builders in Lubbock, I lead men who are fighting the same fight I fought, and I still fight it every day myself. I wrote this book because I know what it's like to float through life without purpose. You don't have to stay there.
